With around 90 hand-picked candidates across Canada — bypassing open nominations and silencing local voices — things only got worse under the direction of the Federal Conservative Party and its leader, Pierre Poilievre.
In response, 83 independent candidates have now registered, bringing the total number of people running against Pierre Poilievre in the Carleton riding to exactly 90 — to match that same number of hand-picked names.
This isn’t chaos — it’s strategy.
Each last name seems to have been selected with care, ensuring that Pierre Poilievre’s name is alphabetically buried two-thirds of the way into the ballot. Not at the top. Not at the bottom. An Alphabet Ambush. Trapped.
Why?
Because we can tolerate an incompetent Prime Minister, or even an arrogant one — but not someone who demonstrates both.
If Pierre Poilievre had nothing to do with this, then it speaks to his incompetence for choosing his so-called “Fantastic Five” lieutenants so poorly. The buck stops with him.
If he did order it, then it’s not just arrogance — it’s interference. Meddling with Canadian democracy at the grassroots level is unforgivable.
He kept his true nature hidden, playing his cards close until it was too late for Canadians to respond. No more.
🔒 Let the ballot do what open debates couldn’t: make him harder to find. (Where’s Waldo 🎯)

This is Val Neekman’s take on the movement. He won’t confirm or deny being involved — but let’s just say, he has a few thoughts.
